The dark streamers that you see are the insides ripped out of a backup tape (LTO-3 for fellow nerds) and then strewn about my cube. From what I can tell, it’s about 1 & 1/2 tapes worth of ribbon, although the guilty parties are a little hesitant to say for certain.
